The Lansmont 152-30 is a servo-hydraulic compression tester that evaluates the compressive strength of individual shipping containers together with larger pallets, unit loads and large bulk containers. Force is applied from the top down, reproducing the way goods are actually loaded when stacked in a warehouse.
Compared with the 122-15, the 152-30 moves up a tier in both platen size and capacity. The standard platen is 152 x 152 cm (60 x 60 in) with a maximum opening of 213 cm (84 in), and maximum force reaches 133 kN (30,000 lbs). The larger platen and opening accept taller, wider pallet loads and big containers, while oversized platens and larger openings remain available as options. A low-profile baseplate simplifies handling of heavy specimens, and the machine installs on any reinforced concrete floor, preferably at ground level.
The system ships with the TouchTest Compression (TTC) controller, offering Constant Deflection Rate, Ramp to Load and Release, Stacking Simulation and Deflection Profile modes plus user-defined load and deflection profiles for complex stacking conditions. Options include a fixed or floating platen, a package test stand, a low-range load platform with a higher-resolution load cell, and an integrated temperature/humidity sensor. It suits heavy-product and high-volume logistics packaging, from palletized freight and large bulk containers to appliances and industrial equipment, for both QC and new package design validation.
