Overview

The Lansmont Model 1000 is a vertical vibration test system engineered for precise testing of small products and packages. It runs under closed-loop computerized control and supports random vibration, Field-to-Lab simulations, resonance search and dwell, sine sweep, and repetitive bounce tests, delivering accurate and repeatable results.

At 3000 psi the actuator delivers 1,225 lbs (5.4 kN) of stall force and 816 lbs (3.6 kN) of dynamic force. Standard table sizes are 15.8 in (40 cm), 25.6 in (65 cm), and 33.5 in (85 cm) square, with additional optional sizes to match specific needs. Frequency performance covers 1 to 300 Hz as standard and up to 500 Hz in the high-performance configuration.

The system is equipped with Lansmont's TouchTest Vibration Controller, which integrates test hardware, operating controls, data analysis, and reporting into one interface for easy, safe, and efficient operation. The fully integrated design includes a built-in hydraulic power supply that needs only electrical power and no cooling water, simplifying installation and upkeep, and Lansmont backs it with a full range of application training and global support.

Typical test articles include small electronics, appliances, and medical devices in small and mid-size packaging. Options include column stacking fixtures, hold-down fixtures, response channels (accelerometers) for instrumented testing, and SAVER field data recorders with Field-to-Lab services.
