Overview

The devices and systems line-up organizes the hardware platforms, acquisition software and diagnostic tools into one framework, so users can adopt either continuous online monitoring or route-based surveys depending on how critical an asset is. The hardware family includes the CoCo-80X/90X handheld analyzers, the Spider-20 compact dynamic signal analyzer, the Spider-80X dynamic measurement and vibration control front-end, the Spider-80Xi high-channel system, the Spider-80X machine condition monitoring system and the Ruby wireless vibration sensor. The CoCo platform offers two working modes: Dynamic Signal Analyzer (DSA) mode for mechanical structure analysis and optimization, and Route and OnSite mode dedicated to route-based machine condition monitoring, vibration data collection and trending.

Three software modules complete the picture. The Route Based Vibration Data Collector handles acquisition and trending of survey data. Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) targets equipment and structures that cannot be configured inside a local network, such as machinery during transport, bridges and structures close to railways or roadways, and ground-mounted wind turbines. The Vibration Diagnostics System (VDS) is a vibration data management system built for the machinery predictive maintenance (PdM) community; it uses the graphic display capability of the EDM software so analysts can quickly pull up data for a machine of interest, view it in the familiar tri-axial or single-axis format, and compare it against the machine's own history and against other machines in the database.

Deployed permanently alongside a critical machine or carried from point to point on a survey route, the combination forms a closed loop from data collection and alarming to diagnosis.
