Overview

The SAVER 9X30 is Lansmont's most capable shock and vibration field data recorder. It can record up to nine dynamic channels, using an internal triaxial accelerometer plus six external accelerometer inputs. It also includes sensors for temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, capturing a full picture of the transport environment.

Built-in signal conditioning is provided for all dynamic channels, with user-defined recording ranges and filters. The instrument is self-powered and records full triaxial accelerometer time-history waveforms at 16-bit resolution, with user-defined signal pre-trigger settings. As a research-grade data logger it supports both internal and external acceleration measurement for shock, vibration, temperature, humidity and pressure, with GPS location available as an option.

Power comes from user-replaceable 9V lithium or alkaline batteries, giving up to 30 days of continuous environmental sampling. The recorder samples continuously and writes to flash memory only when user-defined trigger conditions are met, triggered either by an event's acceleration threshold or by a periodic timer interval. All acceleration time histories together with temperature, humidity and pressure data are timestamped.

Where research-quality data is required, the 9X30 can simultaneously measure input and response dynamics, use high-speed sampling to characterize shock events accurately, and complete full transport shipping-lane characterizations. Atmospheric-pressure logging plus optional GPS delivers complete, defensible historical data, and SaverXware handles the Field-to-Lab transformation.
