Crystal Instruments EDM Combined Temperature, Humidity & Vibration System Controller

EDM THV is the Temperature, Humidity and Vibration (THV) test software within Crystal Instruments' Engineering Data Management (EDM) platform, and a key element of the Sentek Dynamics THV Series AGREE (Advisory Group on Reliability of Electronic Equipment) chambers. It controls temperature, humidity and vibration with high accuracy and synchronizes the three environments to simulate the actual physical conditions a product meets in the field, serving aerospace, automotive, medical, commercial and independent test-lab programs.

The software synchronizes a chamber controller with any dedicated Crystal Instruments vibration controller, whose channel count ranges from 2 to 512. The two controllers can run separately or in sync as one combined system controller. A single interface sets all three environments' parameters and schedule, and works even without connected hardware; import/export moves test configurations between computers, and an optional module adds 16 more temperature or humidity channels to the chamber controller.

On the vibration side it runs Random, Sine, Shock, SoR and RoR tests combined with temperature and humidity cycling. Test operation, file access and report generation share one user interface, with controller mode and monitor mode so a PC or tablet on the same wired or wireless network can follow status through the EDC chamber-controller interface. Enhanced analysis offers cursor delta-X/delta-Y measurement, peak, valley and custom markers, fault history with suggested solutions, and a report automatically generated at the end of each test in customizable US Letter or A4 layouts and Word or PDF formats.

EDM Extensions integrate external devices into centralized control, covering multi-channel CAN bus, video capture, temperature/humidity chambers, charge cabinet, water chiller, data acquisition systems, temperature/humidity/pressure chambers, and high- and low-voltage sources. The interface is available in English, Japanese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Relevant standards include MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD 202, ISO 8568 and IEC 60068-2-27.
