EDM Cloud is a cloud-based test monitoring and storage service from Crystal Instruments that lets multiple users access and monitor vibration or environmental tests according to customized account privileges. Together with EDM Cloud and EDM Mobile, users can simultaneously monitor multiple tests from anywhere in the world, covering EDM vibration testing, temperature/humidity testing, and combined vibration/temperature/humidity testing.
The service can be hosted on Amazon AWS cloud servers or deployed on local servers within an organization's network. On-premises deployment lets an organization limit information exchange and data sharing to users inside its network, providing data security for tests involving classified information.
EDM Cloud is built around remote visibility: view live test status, display a system's location, view test configuration, view test notifications, view live and past run logs, and view live signal displays. Any of this information can be shared with other accounts for selected tests. The platform also tracks software versions to keep them up to date, and lets administrators configure Team and Group members to share files or grant access to tests. These capabilities let managers, engineers and customers follow test progress without being in the lab, and receive timely notice when a test warns, aborts or completes.
EDM Cloud works with Crystal Instruments controller products and is accessible on mobile through the EDM Mobile app for iOS and Android. Access requires registering or logging into an EDM Cloud account, and uploaded test data and files are centrally managed in the cloud.
