Crystal Instruments EDM Mobile App

EDM Mobile is the mobile front-end app that Crystal Instruments developed for EDM Cloud, available for iOS and Android. EDM Cloud is a cloud service for environmental testing (vibration, temperature and humidity), and EDM Mobile works with it to put a test information center on a mobile device: live test statuses, test configurations, run logs, live signals and past test runs.

Notifications are a core capability. Users can receive push notifications for test warnings, aborts and completions across multiple shaker and chamber systems in multiple labs, so anomalies and results are known immediately without staying in the lab. The in-app dashboard presents the currently running tests and their statuses, and the tests list supports search and filter conditions to quickly locate a target system.

Within an individual test, users can view the test run history, past test runs, run tables and run signal curves - including humidity signals, temperature signals and spectrum signals - and can also see the system's geographic location. The account and app settings pages manage login credentials and notification preferences.

The EDM Mobile app requires Crystal Instruments controller products and an EDM Cloud account to operate. All test information can be viewed instantly on mobile, making it well suited to engineers and managers who need to follow test progress at any time.
