Lansmont hydraulic vibration test systems reproduce the broadband random vibration a product or package meets in transport and in use. They are servo-hydraulic machines: a hydraulic actuator drives a rigid table whose size and payload capacity are matched to the item under test. The range spans ten vertical models plus one horizontal model, covering a broad spread of payloads, table sizes and strokes.
Frequency coverage runs from 1 Hz up to 500 Hz depending on model, well beyond the range of typical mechanical (bounce) shakers, so both transport simulation and higher-frequency product evaluation can be performed. The standard table lists payloads from 75 lbs (34 kg) on the Model 1000 up to 8,000 lbs (3,628 kg) on the Model 56000, with table sizes from 15.7 in. (40 cm) up to 83 x 98 in. (210 x 250 cm). Strokes range from 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) to 10 in. (25.4 cm); the Model 15000, for example, pairs a long 10 in. stroke with 1-100 Hz operation for low-frequency, high-energy profiles.
All systems use the fully integrated TouchTest Vibration controller and can run sine, random and field-to-lab profiles built from measured data. Selection comes down to the largest test item, its weight and the required frequency and stroke.
The model line-up comprises the Model 1000, 1800, 6200, 7000, 10000, 15000, 28000, 56000 and 65000 vertical systems plus the Model 6000H horizontal system.
