Overview

The Lansmont Model 6000H is a horizontal servo-hydraulic vibration test system built to run a wide range of horizontal vibration testing, including sine, random, and Field-to-Lab test protocols. It follows the same architecture as Lansmont's vertical systems: an application-sized table, a rugged hydraulic actuator, a dependable hydraulic power supply, and the TouchTest Vibration Controller, all manufactured and integrated by Lansmont.

Its standout engineering feature is flexibility. The 6000H can be configured as a stand-alone vibration system, or combined with a vertical vibration system so the two share one hydraulic power supply and control set. That gives a lab full horizontal and vertical vibration capability while avoiding the cost of a second HPS and controller, saving both floor space and capital investment. At 3000 psi the actuator provides 7,404 lbs (32.9 kN) of stall force and 4,936 lbs (21.9 kN) of dynamic force, with 36, 48 or 60 in square tables. Standard performance covers 1–300 Hz, and a high-performance configuration reaches 1–500 Hz.

Driven by TouchTest, the system performs random vibration, swept sine, resonance search and dwell, repetitive bounce and Field-to-Lab simulations under closed-loop computerized control. The self-contained hydraulic power supply needs only electrical power and no cooling water. Typical applications cover horizontal transport-vibration reproduction for packaged products and unitized loads. Optional column stacking and hold-down fixtures secure test items, response channels allow instrumented testing, and SAVER field data recorders support Field-to-Lab workflows.
