Overview

TouchTest (TTV) is the vibration controller Lansmont developed for its servo-hydraulic vibration test systems, and it remains the only fully integrated control system available for servo-hydraulic shakers. Rather than a stand-alone acquisition instrument, it brings the test hardware, operating controls, data analysis and reporting into a single Windows-based software and control architecture, so an operator can set up, run, monitor and report a test from one interface.

Functionally, TouchTest supports swept sine, dwell, random and Field-to-Lab vibration, along with multi-channel control and response measurement. It accepts up to 8 acceleration input channels and includes built-in signal conditioning, so accelerometers connect directly without extra conditioning hardware. It integrates the servo controller and hydraulic power supply (HPS) sequencing to provide one-touch start: when the operator begins a test, the controller sequences the hydraulic power supply and servo control in the correct order, simplifying operation and improving safety.

TouchTest runs on an intuitive Windows platform, is network ready, and includes QuickStart technology for fast test configuration. It can also be easily upgraded onto existing machines, giving installed systems the latest control and analysis capabilities. For this reason Lansmont's full line of hydraulic vibration systems — including the Model 1000, 1800, 6200, 7000, 10000, 15000, 28000, 6000H and 65000 — uses TouchTest as its standard control platform and its means of closed-loop computerized control, random and sine testing, and Field-to-Lab replication.
