Overview

The Lansmont Model 6200 is a vertical servo-hydraulic vibration test system whose defining feature is a long-stroke hydraulic actuator purpose-built for low-frequency, high-energy vibration test profiles. Where a test standard or measured field data calls for large displacement amplitudes at low frequency, the extended stroke delivers the displacement travel that ordinary actuators cannot, faithfully reproducing this demanding transport-vibration environment.

Lansmont configures each Model 6200 to the specific product, individual package, or unitized load being tested. The complete system comprises an application-sized table, a rugged hydraulic actuator, a reliable hydraulic power supply, and the TouchTest Vibration Controller. TouchTest integrates the test hardware, operating controls, data analysis and reporting so the system runs random vibration, Field-to-Lab simulations, resonance search and dwell, sine sweep and repetitive bounce tests under closed-loop computerized control.

At 3000 psi the actuator provides 7,404 lbs (32.9 kN) of stall force and 4,936 lbs (21.9 kN) of dynamic force. Table sizes span 33.5, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in square, giving wide coverage across test-item sizes. Standard performance covers 1–300 Hz, with a high-performance configuration reaching 1–500 Hz. The self-contained hydraulic power supply requires only electrical power and no cooling water. Options include One-G supports for higher performance, column stacking and hold-down fixtures, response channels for instrumented testing, and SAVER field data recorders for a complete field-measurement-to-lab-replication workflow.
