The Lansmont Model 28000 is a vertical servo-hydraulic vibration test system built for two distinct jobs: distribution-type testing with extreme payloads, and high-performance testing for detailed product evaluation. Each system combines a table sized to the application, a rugged hydraulic actuator, a self-contained hydraulic power supply, and Lansmont's TouchTest Vibration Controller.
The TouchTest controller fully integrates the test hardware, operating controls, data analysis and reporting into one closed-loop, computerized platform. It drives random vibration, Field-to-Lab simulations, resonance search and dwell, sine sweep, and repetitive bounce tests. At 3000 psi the actuator delivers 29,400 lbs (131 kN) of stall force and 19,600 lbs (87.3 kN) of dynamic force. Table sizes range from 36 in to 102 x 160 in (259 x 406 cm) square, so the same platform can carry small units or full palletized loads. The hydraulic power supply is self-contained and needs only electrical power, with no cooling water.
Typical test articles include large appliances, unitized and palletized loads, and heavy products whose structural integrity must be qualified against the transportation environment. The Model 28000 sits between mid-range systems and the fully custom Model 65000: when payload and table demands exceed the standard models but stop short of the 65000's 283 kN-class force, the 28000 balances force, table area and performance. Options include One-G supports, column stacking and hold-down fixtures, response channels for instrumented testing, and SAVER field data recorders.
