The Lansmont Model 7000 is a vertical hydraulic vibration test system positioned as one of the best choices for testing heavier test items or palletized loads. It balances table size against force: it offers greater load capacity than mid-range systems without moving into the extreme-payload territory of the Model 28000 or 65000, making it well suited to routine heavy-duty package and product vibration testing.
The complete system comprises an application-sized table, a rugged hydraulic actuator, a reliable hydraulic power supply, and Lansmont's TouchTest Vibration Controller. At 3000 psi the actuator delivers 9,171 lbs (41 kN) of stall force and 6,114 lbs (27.2 kN) of dynamic force, notably more thrust than the comparably sized 6200, so it can drive heavier specimens. Table sizes cover 48, 60 and 72 in square, with a standard frequency range of 1–300 Hz. TouchTest fully integrates the test hardware, operating controls, data analysis and reporting, running random vibration, Field-to-Lab simulations, resonance search and dwell, sine sweep and repetitive bounce tests under closed-loop computerized control.
Typical test articles are palletized packages, unitized loads, and heavier individual products, tested to reproduce the transportation vibration environment in the lab and to evaluate the vibration resistance of packaging and product structures. The self-contained hydraulic power supply needs only electrical power and no cooling water. Options include One-G supports for higher performance, column stacking and hold-down fixtures, response channels for instrumented testing, and SAVER field data recorders for a complete field-measurement-to-lab-replication workflow.
