The Lansmont P30/45 is a vertical shock test system designed for consumer electronics testing. Compared with the smaller-table P16/30, it enlarges the table to 15.7 x 15.7 in (40 x 40 cm), enough to hold larger finished products such as phones, tablets, laptops, wearables and small appliances, while retaining high-performance shock capability. Maximum velocity change is configurable between 22 and 55 ft/sec (6.7 to 16.8 m/sec), maximum payload is 165 lbs (75 kg), and maximum acceleration is 5000 g, extendable to 10,000 g with options.
The table uses a forged aluminum design to produce high-acceleration shock pulses. The system includes the TouchTest Shock (TTS) tabletop control console, which centralizes test control and parameter setup on an intuitive, safe interface and integrates seamlessly with Test Partner data acquisition for coordinated shock control and data collection. An Acceleration Kit increases velocity change performance; an electric hoist lifting and positioning system keeps drop height repeatable, and a floating seismic base limits shock energy transmitted to the floor. Optional shock pulse programmers cover half-sine, trapezoidal and terminal peak sawtooth pulses, meeting a wide range of test needs from short to long duration and low to high acceleration.
Within the Lansmont shock range, the P30/45 offers a larger table than the P16/30 for whole-product consumer electronics, with acceleration and velocity-change performance matching the high-performance small-table machines but a higher 75 kg payload. Typical test articles include finished consumer electronics, small appliances, assemblies and packaged products. Further options include low impulse kits, dual mass shock amplifiers, additional pulse programmers and hold-down fixtures, covering the impacts electronics meet in drop, transport and use.
